Last Thursday we started drawing a handbag, and this week we continue with another variation of the bag! Today’s Thursday tutorial is a smaller handbag in the shape of a trapezoid. This exercise can be completed in 3 easy steps and under 5 minutes! With my calculations this gives you enough time to learn something, and to get back to your errands. It’s a win-win situation.
The First Steps
First draw a 2 inch line. This will be the bottom of the bag. Next, draw a line in the middle of the 2 inch line up 3 / 4” and square it off 1”. These lines will start to create the outline of the bag
Almost There….
Now you will connect the two lines together to get a complete shape as seen in the sketch.
Complete!
Add a handle, and your bag is complete! You just made your very own small handbag.
